Lunchtime food served. Real ales. New Zealand landlord Stephen Cassidy ran the pub from October 1997 to March 2001 and made some improvements. Taken over in March 2001 by Bev and Con, who have kept the friendly feel and extended the food range. Pool table. Quiz nights. And a good garden we hear. Renovated in May 1999. (Thanks to Dave Lawton from Maidenhead for the report in March 2001). February 2003 update: They are now offering accomodation in four "tastefully converted" Victorian cottages at the back of the pub. |
