This recently, Jan 2012, closed and reopened after a major refurb as a Greene King "Meet and Eat." Very much on the lines of Wetherspoons, with good value meals although uninspiring. Beer prices generally start at times £2.75 but sometimes offer one at times £2.30. The new bar staff didn't appear to have worked behind a bar before and were hopeless but will probably settle down. Temporary landlord appointed by brewer until franchise is taken is attempting to raise the standard, it was a bit rough previously.
