Valentine's Day launch for web guide
Maidenhead and the East Berkshire area now has its own interactive eating out guide on the web, after the launch of a new section within maidenhead.net, the town's internet web site. The area on the site, called the Eating & Drinking Guide, covers Maidenhead town centre and a large area surrounding the town, including the villages of Cookham and Bray.

The Eating & Drinking Guide was created after the success of its predecessor, the Maidenhead Pub Guide, also on maidenhead.net. "The pub guide was one of the most popular features of the whole maidenhead.net site," said the site's creator Paul Baker. "The eating and drinking guide is an extension to that - its greater functionality will prove even more useful to Maidenhead's residents and visitors," he continued.

Maidenhead.net was first launched in November 1998. It is aimed at residents and visitors and includes a virtual tour, accommodation listing, local history, community links, property agent listing, travel guide, sports and leisure information, street maps and more.
