A comfortable traditional pub with large bars and garden. Very friendly staff, excellent home cooking and unusually well-kept pints of Greene King, Morland and Wadworths to name but three sampled.

I would like to let those searching for pubs in maidenhead that the waggon has tonnes to offer for everybody. There is a large well kept garden with play equipment to the rear, as well as a comfortable room to the side of the pub were there is a fuzeball game and a television. The back bar is exceptionally comfortable, and the front bar is more lively. Because of the age difference between the father and son landlords, Tim and Paul, there is always a wide range of age groups in the pub. The staff and locals are happy and friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. They are often advertising events like discos arranged by paul, and trips out to the races by Tim. Everyone is made welcome in this traditional and warm pub, and for any of the girls out there Paul, 24 is an added bonus, so be sure to put your glad rags on!
