Airy conservatory style bar over-looking the River Thames (and, unfortunately, the A4094 road to/from Cookham). Built in the 1880's, this hotel bar has plenty of outside seating, but is quite small inside. Good for summer drinking, though the service can be slow at times. Food available. The hotel has 35 bedrooms. Bob Simms writes on 20 May 2004: The resaurant is reasonable but the service can still be slow. |
