This restaurant is one of a small chain of Italian restaurants with a similar look - two of the others are in Henley and Windsor. Lovely "rustic cottage" look with unfinished plaster on the walls. Bar area on the right and a raised table area on the far left. In the summer the huge windows open out on to the pavement to give a continental look. Lively atmosphere - popular with younger people, though never rowdy. Food is good, and has good value for money. Salad £3.75, small pizzas are around £5, bottle of Peroni £2.30, most desserts £3.25. Live music on Sundays (and a 10% discount). Recommended.
