| Good looking pub in this pretty village. Landlords Emma Green and Nigel Leadbitter took over in February 1998. Satellite TV, barbecues, beer festivals, quiz nights and lunchtime and evening food. Function room. Thursday night is disco/quiz/cards night. Popular in summer evenings when people spill out into the front garden and the green adjacent, which can be seen in the photo. A Shire Taverns managed house. Chris and Les Dawson ran The Crown for some years until February 1998. |
